Eighth Grade

Science - We are studying drug and alcohol awareness. The students are working on a power point project for presentation to the class. |

History - This week we will look at social challenges and religious freedom. Current Events for 7th Grade on Friday. |
Seventh Grade
|
Science - We are studying the senses. This week we will have a taste test and find the areas on the tongue for different tastes. Next we look at the skin. |

History - This week we will look at trade agreements and social challenges. Current Events for 7th Grade on Friday. |
Sixth Grade
|
Spelling - This is week 28. The students received their lists on Tuesday and will have a posttest on Thursday. Their book or packet is due on Thursday. |

Literature - We finished The Sign of the Beaver. This week we will begin unit 4. Our first story is "Seeing Things His Own Way". Page 112 is due on Thursday, page 117 is due on Friday. The skills for this week are synonyms and author's purpose for writing. Vocab quiz is on Friday. |

Science - We are studying the human body. The students are working in a group on a specific body system. We will be using this week for further work on that project. |

History - Daily Geography will be due on Friday. Tuesday we will work on our chapter review. There will be a chapter 5 test on Friday |

Writing - Power point book report is due on Friday. The students have an alliteration assignment also due on Friday. |
Fifth Grade
