Why I am excited to teach at SCS: I enjoy teaching at SCS for many reasons. First and foremost, it provides me with an opportunity to fulfill a call that I feel God has given for me to do. This call is to educate God's children under the umbrella of His truth and grace. I enjoy the opportunity to fulfill this mission here at SCS. Secondly, I appreciate that SCS is not simply a place where children come to for a one dimensional experience. Our school society has and the Lord willing, will continue to entrust us with God's covenant youth for the sole purpose of educating under God's word for serving Him in His world. With that goal in mind, we can't help but have a greater mission in our building for our kids. Our teaching philosophy is about more than just the grades, or the pursuit of excellence, or equipping our children with the skills to find a job someday. As great and important as these things are, they are simply a piece of a much broader and God glorifying view of what our society has for education. At SCS I appreciate that all involved, from parents to teachers to church, strive to see our children grow to serve our Savior and King!

Why I love SCS: I love SCS primarily because it is a place where I can grow in the knowledge and grace of our Lord and Savior alongside those who are here. I enjoy worshipping with, learning with, and fellow shipping with students, staff and parents who love God. It truly is a great privilege and blessing.
